Expectations:
Monthly meetings with class advisors, other school staff as necessary. Creation and sharing of agenda and minutes.
Once per semester, a meeting with all officers/advisors from all grades.
Maintain all records, accounts, etc., in a format that can be easily shared with school personnel and new officers, if needed.
Seniors Officers, post-graduation: 1x per year check in with each other and a collective report/check in with school principal

Provides the vision and direction for the class
Serves as a role model for other officers and student population
Recruits class members for activities
Works with secretary to set monthly agenda with class faculty advisor
Decorates and participates in homecoming activities
Coordinates one community service activity per year
Works closely with all other class officers to ensure the success of all activities
Senior President: Commits to working with Senior Class Officers to coordinate reunion events, gather post-secondary information, share school events/information
Social Manager: Job Description
Coordinates spirit wear fundraiser, and one other fundraiser
Designs, produces and distributes all marketing materials. Works in conjunction with MMF teacher(s) and school website manager(s)
Creates an active community on social media platforms like Instagram, among others, to engage the DMHS student community and raise awareness of upcoming activities. These will be school-based accounts, not an officer’s personal account(s).
Works closely with all other class officers to ensure the success of all activities
Gathers student contact information for post-graduation purposes

Student Voice: Job Description
Liaise with school administration in regards to policies affecting student population
Gathers, analyzes and shares student information, with source backup, and feedback regarding school culture, climate, policy impact, etc.
Works with school administration to develop messaging of school expectations, district rules, etc., for dissemination to the student body.
Fills in for the president in their absence
Liaison with the Advisor and members of the Student Council

Senior Student Voice: Commits to gathering post-secondary performance and preparing reflective presentation for DMHS administration, i.e. a presentation identifying areas of successful preparation and areas for growth
Secretary: Job Description
Works closely with all other class officers to ensure the success of all activities
Takes attendance and detailed notes/minutes on the DMHS class Google Drive
Works with President to set agenda for meetings, and adds events to school calendar
Sends reminders of meetings to all class officers
Creates or uploads files into a YOG Google Drive to be used for reference in future years
Writes Thank You Notes for class events as necessary
Senior Secretary: Downloads class folder from Google Drive to a personal folder so all contact information can be accessed after graduation
Senior Secretary: Commits to working with Senior Class Officers to coordinate reunion events, gather post-secondary information, share school events/information
Timeline:
September (recurring): Post officer roles and responsibilities. Students interested will create a video and a written narrative (perhaps 2-3 slides) that will be shared prior to voting.
Establish a recurring cutoff date for applicants. Suggested - Last Monday in September.
Establish a recurring vote date. Suggested - Last Wednesday in September.
